Who Staffing is looking for a Business Development Representative for a fulltime, direct opportunity with our client in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary:

Our client, a leader in their industry and local to the Baltimore area, is looking to grow their sales team and wants a hunter- someone who loves making calls, making connections, attending networking events, whatever it takes to drive new business and redevelop old customers. This is a base plus commission role with uncapped earning potential, working under sales leadership that has an excellent training program and a commitment to help hard-working salespeople earn the success they deserve.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a “hunter”, focused on selling to existing dormant and new accounts. Some existing customer accounts will also be assigned.

• Once you bring on new accounts, you will be responsible for managing the relationship and penetrating accounts with additional solutions.

• Prospects potential clients and customers utilizing various methods including the telephone, email, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, referrals, networking, drop-ins, etc.

• Conduct meetings virtual & in person to create new opportunities to sell solutions.

• Manages pipeline opportunities and sales activities by following defined sales process.

• Achieves monthly quota expectations with sales activity and closing new opportunities.

• The role is hybrid with field ride-along with VP Business Development, bi-weekly 1x1s, pipeline reviews, ongoing training, CRM management

Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative/contract, business development role.

• Proven experience generating meeting activity via telephone, emails, LinkedIn, networking, drop-ins, etc. Background of B2B sales.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task by managing the needs of the customer.

• Proven track record of achieving monthly quota expectations with sales activity, new account closures, and revenue.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Self-Starter with strong attention to detail

• Ability to overcome obstacles and objections when facing adversity.

• Competitive with a teamwork mentality

• Persuasive Communication with ability to negotiate.

• Thirst for knowledge (capacity), takes the initiative to learn new things
