Who Staffing's Levels of Service

Who Staffing's Levels of Service

We know that a “one size fits all” approach isn’t the best way for us to deliver our services. Every business is different and so are their needs. We offer different levels of recruiting services based on those needs. Our firm specializes in recruiting for IT and business operations positions. You can visit our job board to explore the types of positions we are currently hiring for.

Types of Hiring Arrangements

There are three main types of hiring arrangements: direct-hire recruiting, contract recruiting, and contract-to-hire recruiting. A direct-hire placement is appropriate when our client wants to hire a full-time employee directly onto their payroll. In this arrangement, the client pays a one-time fee based on the salary of the new hire. A contract hire is someone who is placed in a role for a specified amount of time, usually for a single project. This person is paid on an hourly basis and the client is billed on an hourly basis for those services. These employees are on the recruiting firm’s payroll. This type of role is also known as temporary employment. Contract-to-hire placement is when a client has a need for a full time employee but has decided (either due to budgetary or operational requirements) to start that employee on a contract basis with an expectation to convert them to a full time employee after a set amount of time. If a candidate is looking to move from contract or contract-to-hire to a full-time position quickly, we recommend taking certain steps. You may be curious about the benefits of contract employment. If so, learn about them here.

Levels of Recruiting Services

While we hire for three types of placements, we offer two levels of service. Contingency Search Services can apply to all types of hiring arrangements while Retained Search Services are exclusive for direct-hire placements.

Contingency Search Services

This type of service is the most common, used for direct-hire, contract-to-hire, and contract placement. The client only pays the recruiting firm when a candidate identified by them is placed with the organization. Many people refer to Contingency Search as “No Win, No Fee”, which is a typically attractive type of recruiting service to businesses of all sizes. We take pride in our work, aiming to present each client with 3-5 top-notch candidates in the first 30 days of opening a search.

Retained Search Services

This type of service is exclusively used for direct-hire placements and we consider it to be our premium, white-glove level of service. Retained Search is particularly appropriate in a few specific instances—when the need is urgent, when a company needs to replace an existing employee and needs to make a confidential hire, when hiring for executive level and when new internal openings emerge emerge that must be addressed quickly. We work with our retained search clients from beginning to end with undying attention to deliver urgent and necessary results. This service is typically reserved for higher level roles and specialized searches and comes with weekly deliverables agreed upon in the beginning of the search that who staffing must deliver to the client.
